Formed by producers Júlio Torres and Sarria, Marsellie is an electronic music duo that emerged in 2022. The project was born with the purpose of creating a sound different from anything the artists had done before. The discovery of this new musicality was a process that challenged the creative side of both DJs.

 

Through a pop language and orchestrated foundations, Marsellie's music takes the audience on a journey that floats between Deep and Techno. A meticulous work of sound synthesis showcases the duo's most artistic side in relation to synth tones, basses, and drums.

 

The name comes from the combination of two words: MARS and ELLIE. The first comes from the English word for Mars, and the latter means a ray of sunlight. There is an ancient belief that when this sunlight breaks through the clouds in the sky, a portal opens. This passage is capable of teleporting people to any place in time and space.

 

Based on this concept, the duo believes that music also has this power. Like a portal, it can evoke memories, recollections, and places that have marked the listener's life. That is why Marsellie's entire narrative is based on this connection, aiming to deliver an audiovisual experience capable of taking the audience on a journey to any place from their fondest memories.
